The area of consideration for this vacancy is current employees of the Hale Koa Hotel.

Assists the director in the management of four food and beverage business activities at an AFRC and provides oversight of operations as required. Recommends and caries out instructions and directives as necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a large and diverse customer base. Reviews subordinate operating managers and their program and operations to identify strengths and weaknesses. Recommends or carries out corrective measures as appropriate. Evaluates success in term of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment. Reviews financial reports, plans, costs, and budget. Ensures the safeguarding of facilities and assets. Assists in the marketing and promotion of the activity. Performs the full range of supervisory duties.

Conditions of employment

• Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required.
• Must possess a certificate in food service sanitation or have the ability to obtain within first six (6) months of employment

Qualifications

1. Must possess at least three (3) years of experience in a large scale, diverse catering and banquet operations in a lead, supervisory or managerial position.
2. Must be highly skilled in written and verbal communication.
3. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other software as required.
