The area of consideration for this vacancy is current employees of the Hale Koa Hotel.
Manages a Food Service Program within a business activity. Develops, recommends and enforces operating procedures. Plans and manages all phases of food service program where dining and catering are a substantial basis of the food operation. Represents the activity to the public. Conducts customer surveys, reviews usage/sales to make recommendations concerning services, promotion activities and revenue improvements. Participates in the selection of employees, directs on-the-job-training of new employees, makes duty assignments consistent with operational requirements. Develops operating budget and data, identifying labor, equipment, and supply costs. Controls food pricing and costs. Oversees food ordering, storage and issues. Directs subordinates in all phases of food preparation and food sanitation requirements. Supervises assigned staff.
Work experience of at least a minimum of three (3) years in a managerial/supervisory capacity in a high volume restaurant operation.
