This National Guard position is for an AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR - Title 32, Position Description Number D0732000and is part of the WI AASF 1, Wisconsin National Guard.
Open to current military members of the Active-Duty Army, Army Reserves and Army National Guard (to include the Wisconsin Army National Guard) that are eligible to enlist in the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
As an AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR - Title 32, WS-8801-10, you will supervise workers, either directly or through one or more subordinate leaders and/or supervisors, in accomplishing the operations of a distinct organizational unit and to perform associated nonsupervisory work.
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Grades: E-6 through E-9 and WO1 through CW3
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training that has provided the ability to perform the various aspects of disassembly, cleaning, lubricating, or assembling of aircraft parts, components, or subassemblies. Experience in the use of various production shop equipment, hand tools, measuring devices, power tools, and test equipment.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the WS-8801-10, you must have journeyman level knowledge, experience demonstrating the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments of lower grade personnel. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations.
