Screen/Review electronic health record, receives and interviews patients, obtains and documents in electronic health record.
Recognize and report abnormal test results /vital signs to appropriate staff (Provider and/or Nurse) during intake and/or chart review.
Clean wounds and apply bandages after suturing and assists in removal of sutures, staples, and dressings.
Receive telephone calls, patients, and visitors to the medical facility, ascertains the nature of the call or visit, obtains identifying information and determines the nature and urgency of the patient's request.
Endeavor to calm disgruntled patients and to resolve complaints of administrative nature.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 pounds is required.
Required to be screened for and obtain necessary immunizations/vaccinations (hepatitis, influenza, etc.), unless exempted by a licensed physician.

Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in nursing or related field of study.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
