Duties

Help
  • Serve as a Supply Technician and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in the Consolidated Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Branch of the Logistics Division.
  • Perform a variety of supply tasks and provides administrative and clerical support.
  • Serve as the focal point for all parts and repairs acquisition services contracts, parts and supplies warehousing and assists the branch chief and NCOIC with budget formulation and execution.
  • Analyze budget requirements and makes recommendations for increases or decreases based on submission of requisitions by the branch.
  • Use word processing software to produce a variety of documents in correct format with appropriate grammar and punctuation.
  • Perform duties concerned with preparing and maintaining the equipment files and other historical records required by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the Command Logistics Review Team, and other related regulations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which conducting inventory; providing customer assistance and/or advice on procurement processes; and reviewing or submitting purchase requests. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

OR

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Supply Chain Management or Logistics.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
