Summary

The purpose of this position is to oversee three NAF charge card programs and handle procurement related administrative actions specializing in NAF rules and regulations for Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (NRMA) N9 Fleet and Family Readiness Programs. The incumbent will be trained on increasingly difficult/complex tasks.

Duties

Help

Assigned as the NAF Purchase Card Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for NRMA Fleet and Family Readiness Programs. Oversees the NAF Purchase Card program at the regional level and acts as the primary point of contact for NAF Purchase cardholders and authorizing officials.

Assigned as the NAF Fleet Fuel Card Manager for the NRMA Fleet and Family Readiness Program. Oversees the NAF Fleet Card program at the regional level and acts as the primary point of contact for Fleet Card Transaction Approvers and Fleet Card User.

Assigned as the NAF Travel Card Agency Program Coordinator for the NRMA Fleet and Family Readiness Program. Oversees the NAF Travel Card program at the regional level.

Manages the NAF procurement electronic inbox and physical mailbox. Reviews and assigns incoming procurement requests as directed

Maintains and updates electronic procurement files and logs. Maintain contract status spreadsheet including tracking execution timelines

Assists the NAF Purchasing Agent(s) and Contracting Specialist(s) in solicitation, award, and contract administration phases of the contracting process. Compiles required solicitation and award documents for legal review. Assists with generating purchase orders in the automated system.

Performs monthly review of open contracts and purchase orders in the automated system and researches open items past execution/delivery date.
Compiles procurement data to use for developing reports and tracking tools.

A qualified candidate must possess:

  • Practical knowledge of procurement, operations, and regulations to assist with the flow of processes and procedures for the NRMA NAF Procurement Department.
  • Familiarity with and the ability to utilize a computer, to include automated systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Requires knowledge of effective communication techniques, oral, and written.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills enabling incumbent to work effectively with others at all levels.
