This position is only open to current and former DoD NAF employees, and current, eligible DoD APF employees. Other candidates will not receive consideration.
Serves as Senior Financial Analyst for the Financial Management Enterprise Support team. Provides oversight and analysis of the Army's field-operating NAFI MWR programs. Develops financial management policies, procedures and guidance and performs analyses of initiatives. Orchestrates actions to ensure compliance with Army/OSD/FMWRC initiatives and sound business practices. Represents the Directorate and Army in appropriate DOD Component/Army Staff/FMWRC actions and meetings. Serves as mentor to less senior analysts.
Ensures sufficient internal control mechanisms are installed to protect Government and Soldier assets and that programs are financially administered in the best interests of the Army.
May be called upon to be a team leader for complex projects of an indefinite duration. When designated, serves as office lead for the NAF personnel requirements document and the automated version (IMETS). When designated, serves as office lead for NAF financial management aspects of the Uniform Financial Management process. When designated, serves as liaison with DFAS for NAF accounting policies. As assigned, serves as lead financial analyst for designated regions.
