The Advanced MSA, provides specialized and expert administrative patient support while working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model in an outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Work involves specialized administrative judgment and the flexible use of a wide range of clinical flow processes relating to access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and/or care in the community resources.

The Advanced MSA must assist with clinic access contingency plans by adjusting appointment times, location, or dates as well as shift patients to other healthcare providers as conflict with staffing and/or coverage occurs. The incumbent may be required to serve on more than one PACT or in more than one Specialty Clinic area, or rotate in any MSA area. Major duties include, but are not limited too:
