The incumbent will serve in a developmental assignment to provide the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the full range of duties as described in the target position description, PD# 305330, Facility Telehealth Coordinator to the Nurse Manager of Primary Care GS-0671-11. The incumbent will perform the duties outlined in the target grade position description but will operate under closer supervision and will not be expected to demonstrate the same level of subject matter mastery. All other factors remain the same. Coordinate telehealth services, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to guidelines. Analyze program data to identify trends and recommend improvements to leadership. Provide troubleshooting support for telehealth technologies and coordinate with IT for technical issues. Lead training efforts for staff on telehealth procedures and equipment. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize telehealth scheduling and workflows. Monitor action plans to improve patient satisfaction and access to care. Track the telehealth program's budget, including expenditures for equipment and supplies.

Participation in the seasonal influenza program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP). HCP also includes VHA personnel providing home-based care to Veterans and drivers and other personnel whose duties put them in contact with patients outside VA medical facilities.
Pursuant to VHA Directive 1193.01, VHA health care personnel (HCP) are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 subject to such accommodations as required by law (i.e., medical, religious or pregnancy). VHA HCPs do not include remote workers who only infrequently enter VHA locations. If selected, you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit documentation of proof of vaccination before your start date.
