This job is open to all current and permanent employees at the Lexington VA Healthcare System and CBOCs aligned under Duty Station #596. The incumbent will serve in a developmental assignment to provide the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the full range of duties as described in the target position description, PD# 305330, Facility Telehealth Coordinator to the Nurse Manager of Primary Care GS-0671-11. The incumbent will perform the duties outlined in the target grade position description but will operate under closer supervision and will not be expected to demonstrate the same level of subject matter mastery. All other factors remain the same. Coordinate telehealth services, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to guidelines. Analyze program data to identify trends and recommend improvements to leadership. Provide troubleshooting support for telehealth technologies and coordinate with IT for technical issues. Lead training efforts for staff on telehealth procedures and equipment. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize telehealth scheduling and workflows. Monitor action plans to improve patient satisfaction and access to care. Track the telehealth program's budget, including expenditures for equipment and supplies.

Physical Requirements: For the most part the work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform portions of the work. However, there is periodic walking, standing, carrying necessary supplies charts and or materials, pushing rolling telehealth equipment. The work requires the ability to type and work at a computer. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
