Initiate and ensure effective communication, coordination and follow-up actions;
Contribute to the strategic oversight and direction in the monitoring, identification, and resolution of day-to-day ODNI and NIU facilities issues, including those related to heating and cooling, ventilation, lighting, cleanliness, sanitation, the general appearance of buildings and grounds, and emergency situations;
Conduct daily, weekly and annual classroom maintenance to ensure faculty are able to effectively conduct;
Prepare detailed logistics plans for ODNI components by translating customer objectives and applying logistics principles in order to successfully meet customer requirements;
Participate in the development of financial forecasts and budget assessments and make structured recommendations for new space allocation, construction, and occupancy;
Provide rapid response to emerging logistics support requirements, actively participating in the definition and execution of key logistics support services for NIU's components;
Monitor facility construction projects, and follow contractual;
Serve as a Responsible Officer (RO) for NIU accountable property under the NIU Accountable Officer (AO);
Oversee, administer, coordinate, integrate, and evaluate the efforts of administrative operational areas to identify specific requirements and to plan and schedule for actions needed to meet those requirements;
Provide information on continuing, current, and proposed actions, programs, and plans;
Integrates organizational actions, events, and activities to facilitate effective management of subordinate elements.
