Mission Statement:
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) administers the Director of National Intelligence (DNI's) vision and direction to the ODNI enterprise. This includes synchronizing policy, plans, procedures, and cross-functional issues. The COO oversees all ODNI business operations, including such areas as human resources, diversity & inclusion, finance and budget, information technology, security, facilities, and information management.

Mandatory Duties and Requirements:
Lead and oversee staff in the planning, management, and coordination of multiple substantive projects for Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Senior Executives by overseeing the review, research, writing/editing, coordination, and collaboration on time-sensitive information, correspondence, papers, policy, and briefing materials in response to taskings and action items from internal and external sources.
Lead staff in the planning, management, and coordination of strategic and tactical projects; oversee staff in executing action taskings associated with assigned projects and providing project status and reporting.
Lead staff in the planning, coordination, and organization of all essential information and materials to assist Senior Executives in the execution of daily mission objectives.
Lead staff in planning, managing, and coordinating operational and administrative matters, reviewing and investigating issues, and developing solutions and options; provide leadership to staff in the identification of situations and issues affecting organizational equities and the status of multiple projects.
Oversee staff in the review, planning, and development of responses to email, correspondence, action items, and taskings; lead, plan, and manage priorities and response progress, coordination, and collaboration; oversee the tracking of progress against actions from internal and external sources.
Lead staff in planning, researching, writing, and editing talking points, correspondence, executive summaries, communications, presentations, and briefing materials; oversee staff in planning and developing activity reports and summaries, and editing and rewriting as necessary.
Oversee staff in the development of processes and controls to monitor the dissemination of information, continually improving and maintaining suspense database systems; lead and oversee staff in maintaining and managing records and information in compliance with regulations and sensitive compartmentation.
Lead staff in the planning, management, and coordination of work activities, assignments, and projects with managers internal to the ODNI and across the Intelligence Community (IC) to ensure their understanding and the effective completion of initiatives and requirements.
Lead a team of professional staff and assess performance, collaborate and oversee goal setting, and provide feedback on personal development.
COTR Level 1 Certification or ability to obtain upon selection to position.
Must be a current permanent ODNI employee.
