To meet the minimum qualifications, applicants must possess the leadership and technical experiences listed below. These qualifications would typically be gained through serving in roles that require managing projects/teams or guiding the technical work of others.
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must submit a resume that addresses each minimum qualification experience. Examples should be clear, concise, and emphasize your level of responsibilities; the scope and complexity of the programs, activities, or services you managed; program accomplishments; policy initiatives undertook; level of contacts; the sensitivity and criticality of the issues you addressed; and the results of your actions. Leadership Experience: Experience in leading and projects, including consulting with stakeholders, influencing stakeholders, establishing expectations, assigning work, reviewing work products/services, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and feedback to team members.
Technical Experience 1: Experience in developing training strategies and programs to include design, development, and delivery of content that included theories, experiential activities, and an expert knowledge of competencies; AND
Technical Experience 2: Experience in developing work processes and systems for development training programs, ensuring accurate and quality work products with operational efficiency which align with organizational goals; AND
Technical Experience 3: Experience in developing and/or modifying policies, procedures, and instructions for managers and employees, as related to an organization's development training program.
There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.
These positions are in the following sections:
Corporate Learning Programs (CLP): This section serves the learning and development needs of the partnering divisions and offices. In addition, CLP serves all FDIC employees by providing cross-divisional learning opportunities on current business practices, mandatory training, leadership training, and topics that impact all employees.
Course Design & Development (CDD): This section creates and updates training programs. This includes the core schools for FDIC examiners, state banking authority participants, and foreign central bank participants.
Dallas Learning Center (DLC): This section manages the operations of the Dallas Learning Center facility located in Dallas, Texas at the Regional Office. This training center mirrors the functions, technology, and capabilities of headquarters office of Corporate University in Arlington, VA. This section also manages the Course Maintenance Program which maintains the readiness of corporate training and the Leadership Development Program which provides leadership training.
Examiner Learning Programs (ELP): This section provides course implementation services to support the learning needs of the examiner workforce. In addition, this section is responsible for supporting requests to fund and conduct implementation of off the- shelf/vendor online or classroom training.

The range of pay shown includes base pay plus supplemental locality adjustments. The locality rates for these duty locations range from a low of 26.91% to a high of 33.41%. This position is a Corporate Manager, CM-00, which is equivalent to above the CG/GS-15.
This is a recommended minimum Step 5 position.
