The incumbent will serve as a Building Management Specialist and perform the full range of Building Management Specialist duties for the Facilities Logistics Support Branch. Some duties are:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as knowledge of the principles, theory and techniques of the facility management field sufficient to assist in the preparation of a wide variety of studies and duties associated with the oversight of a federal government facility. A description of how you possess the specialized experience, meet the qualifications desired and why you are an ideal candidate should be addressed in your resume.
Specialized experience is experience assisting in the management of a multi-level commercial office buildings (or equivalent high-rise buildings) consisting of maintaining building mechanical & electrical systems (i.e., HVAC Systems, Building Automation Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Elevators, etc.).
Monitoring COR budgetary and financial data and administration of repair and/or operation and maintenance contracts.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
The duty location of this position is Rockville, MD. In general, employees are expected to be in the office at a minimum of 4 days per pay period. Telework schedules, including full-time telework, are approved, on a case-by-case basis. If selected, telework will be determined in accordance with Agency policy and the Collective Bargaining Agreement, if applicable.
