Specialized Experience for the GS-14: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
- Experience providing recommendations to management concerning internal administration operations and management initiatives.; AND
- Experience leading strategic and operational planning efforts to develop potential solutions to meet performance.; AND
- Experience analyzing proposed internal policies to evaluate the impact on resources and operations.; AND
- Experience monitoring existing plans to project future program developments and needs.
Specialized Experience for the GS-13: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. - Experience assessing required resources for internal administration operations and management initiatives.; OR

- Experience tracking the progress on identified milestones of existing plans.
TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
