The incumbent serves as an intern in the FMC Office of the Inspector General (OIG) Pathways Program. The purpose of this position is to provide a formalized, intern training program involving the practical application of professional auditing/accounting principles, procedures, processes, regulations, and reference materials. Assignments will be configured to build training experiences to provide a solid foundation to prepare the incumbent for an audit position.

FOR ELIGIBILITY: You MUST submit a copy of your transcripts or a list of courses showing title, number of credits, and grade from an accredited college or university verifying proof of degree. These transcripts must show that you are working towards a degree in auditing or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, public administration or accounting. If you do not graduate with a degree in one of these fields, or meet OPM's qualification standard for the target position, you will be ineligible for conversion to a term or permanent performance auditor GS-0511 position.
FOR QUALIFICATIONS: If you are qualifying based on education, you MUST submit a copy of your transcripts or a list of course showing title, number of credits, grade, and date of completion.
CURRENT PROOF OF ENROLLMENT: You MUST submit a copy of your current schedule or upcoming schedule as proof of enrollment. Must show proof of CURRENT ENROLLMENT. Applications without required education documentation will not be considered. We must be able to verify your continuing student status and completed degree/credits.
Proof of enrollment must show that you are currently enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment on at least a half-time basis (generally, 6 semester hours).
