AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Applicants have to be US citizens who are authorized command-sponsored dependents of civilian or military personnel stationed with official Government Orders at US NAS Sigonella, Italy.

Duties

Help

Assigns lanes and takes reservations for lanes when none are available.
Sells drinks. Operates a cash register, accepts money and makes change. Maintains a change fund and fills out reports to account for sales.
Provides information in person or over the phone.
Informs mechanic when problems arise on a lane.
Handles customer complaints.
Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and out of high school.
  • Must satisfactorily complete a background investigation.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical examination.
  • Work schedule is subject to change and may include working mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Male candidates born after December 31, 1959, and at least 18 years of age, are required to certify that they have registered with the Selective Service System (Attach proof of registration).
  • Candidates must be in possession of No-Fee government passport, Italian mission visa, Sponsor's Orders or Command-sponsorship authorization, and Sojourner's permit or application letter.
  • Will be required to obtain Emergency First Responder or CPR/First Aid/AED certification, Customer Service Training and Alcohol Safety Certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: Three (3) months of general experience OR high school graduation (or GED/equivalent).

General Experience: any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position.

Education

High school diploma (or GED/equivalent).
