As a Training and Program Development Specialist (GS-0301-13), your typical work assignments or responsibilities may include the following:
1.Develops, revises, plans, and evaluates internal and external training-related policies, materials, aids, and procedures that standardize the delivery of CRS services, and the professional development of CRS's staff.
2.Collaborates with DOJ and other Federal agencies, as well as with other CRS stakeholders, regarding emerging, controversial, or complex issues identified primarily at the national level.
3. Develops and implements training plans to support employees, mastery of programmatic offerings provided to internal and external stakeholders
4.Establishes and implements a broad range of training methods and programs, such as simulation exercises, mentoring, structured on the job processes, ongoing professional development, and continuous learning opportunities in support of CRS staff.
5.Leads initiatives to conduct skill gaps analyses that assess current competency proficiency levels and identify gaps in staff proficiency.
6.Ensures a consistent approach to individual training, employee development, and program delivery.
7.Develops, facilitates, and maintains programs that increase the capacity of staff to perform basic, intermediate, and advanced functions related to critical competencies for mission critical support,
