About the Position: This position will be using the Direct Hire Authority for Domestic Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in the Department of Defense. Specialized Experience for GS-09 Grade Level: One year of specialized experience which includes TWO of the following: 1) Performing basic project studies including written reports of findings and recommendations; 2) Assisting other engineers with generating as-built site plans and collection of initial survey data for new structure design; OR 3) Assisting higher grade engineers with civil site design as it relates to grading equipment placement, and utility configuration to support installation projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
