Thorough knowledge of the petroleum industry, particularly in the areas of environmental protection and compliance, worker and public health and safety, and strategic planning and analysis sufficient to make unilateral decisions on technical assurance, planning and analysis issues.
Strong interpersonal communication skills to direct program activities and lead, direct, and participate in meetings, discussions, and/or negotiations regarding major programmatic decisions and issues. Skill in written communication to present professional papers, prepare reports, and respond to Congressional inquiries.
