The position serves as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the FHWA Office of Planning, Environment, and Realty, and is assigned to the Project Development Team. As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will:

The candidate has experience establishing and maintaining effective cooperative working relationships with key individuals in and outside the Federal government. The candidate is an expert in transportation planning and environmental issues, specifically pertaining to cutting-edge, complex initiatives and research to accelerate transportation project development.
