GS-09 Specialized experience is defined as: one year of specialized experience equivalent in complexity to the GS-7 grade level performing the following duties: Experience (1) assisting with the chemistry on environmental projects with a focus on determining the nature of contamination; (2) assisting with evaluating chemical data and preparing reports of finding; (3) providing technical advice to multi-disciplined teams about analytical and data collection methods; and (4) providing input to work plans and scopes of work for hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste projects.
