As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating, integrating, facilitating, reporting, and promoting many environmentally-related activities undertaken within the National Capital Region (NCR).

The GS-13 salary range starts at $102,663 per year.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience in providing technical oversight, coordination, and management of environmental protection programs in areas such as: air and water quality, hazardous waste and materials management, oil and hazardous substance spills planning, environmental liabilities, fuel storage tank management, permitting and closure, identification management and mitigation of risks associated with toxic substances, and general environmental compliance. Experience must include the related technical evaluation and assessment for the following types of work projects: facility operations, new construction, renovation and demolition
Bargaining Unit status: NFFE
Relocation-related expenses are not approved and will be your responsibility.
