Performs a broad range of analyses for difficult-to-define, controversial, new, or novel systems/functions of major agency, national or international impact. Works with senior leadership to establish new concepts to improve evaluation planning and execution.
Administers the overall evaluation of the system to include technical performance in critical areas, design stability/maturity, risk assessment, and progress toward meeting key performance parameters (KPPs), key system attributes (KSAs), operational utility, and effectiveness, suitability, and survivability. Identifies and resolves highly complex evaluation problems.
Define, integrate, and implement strategic direction resulting in long-term impact of Army evaluation processes and procedures. Develops innovative solutions and methodologies to evaluate complex acquisition systems requiring in-depth knowledge of defense technologies. Develops innovative solutions and methodologies to evaluate complex weapon systems.

Acquisition Demonstration Project position: The NH-04 broadband incorporates former GS-14 step 1 through GS-15 step 10 grade levels and salary levels. Pay increase within the band will be accomplished through the Contribution-based Compensation and Appraisal System (CCAS). AEC uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $153,225.
