The United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director of Information Technology. Reporting to the Clerk of Court, this position has broad and overarching information technology responsibilities.

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall administration and security of classified and unclassified information technology and telephone systems, will monitor and maintain hardware and software, ensure integration and performance of all components as well as maintain the security and integrity of all systems, including passwords, virus protection and backup. The incumbent will also be responsible for the administration of courtroom technology including audio, video, court reporting and computer presentation systems.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will develop and implement technology policies and will advise on technology spending, aligning technology with the strategic planning process. The Director of Information Technology will ensure that the Court's entire information and telecommunications systems function reliably and securely.
Serving as the sole point of contact and technology expert for the staff, the incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day operations, support and security for all Court information technology. As such, the incumbent can expect to perform a wide range of tasks and hold multiple responsibilities. The Director of Information Technology will work closely with the Clerk and the Presiding Judge of the Court in designing, implementing and maintaining up-to-date, sophisticated information technology systems for the Court.
This position is not eligible for remote work. The position will require occasional travel within the local area.
United States citizenship is required for consideration for this position.
An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this position.
Employees of the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court are excepted service appointments. Excepted service appointments are "At-Will" and can be terminated with or without cause by the court.
Employees are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees.
Employees are required to use Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) for payroll deposit.

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology or a field closely related to the subject matter of the position.
