The Civil Division, Office of Human Resources is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Recent Graduate to work in a fast-paced team environment. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated and willing to learn all facets of human resources. This position is developmental with noncompetitive promotion potential to the GS-11. The successful candidate will be given a variety of developmental duties selected to broaden skills and provide experience for progressively more complex work.

As a GS-0201-09, your typical work assignments may include the following:
- Applying basic knowledge of OPM and Merit Systems Principles to advise internal and external customers.
- Collaborating with administrative staff and hiring managers in fulfilling their recruitment and staffing needs.
- Preparing Requests for Personnel Action (SF-52s) and processing personnel actions for permanent and temporary employees.
- Participating in meetings to develop procedures and methods to streamline a variety of HR processes.
- Assisting staff with special recruitment programs, awards, or performance.
- Providing advisement and/or information to customers on HR related matters.
- Preparing correspondence, memoranda, and other required documents for HR purposes.
- Maintaining data on personnel, accessions, and departures through use of automated databases or spreadsheets.
- Responding to inquiries from Division personnel and external parties regarding Human Resources activities.
