Serving as a Student Trainee (Human Resources) GS-0299-3/4 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission.
The Student Trainee (Human Resources) position participates in the Pathways Internship Program consisting of planned on-the-job training and academic study at a cooperating academic institution. This position is located in the Human Capital office (HCO), Mission and Readiness Support Directorate (MRSD), Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia.
In this position, you will serve as a Student Trainee responsible for participating in a structured training plan which includes orientation on mission, functions, organizations and program relationships, training on the principles, methods, procedures and regulations applicable to the occupation, and training/rotational assignments among the various HCO branches, where feasible, to obtain an overview of the various missions and operations and their interrelationships in the human resources lifecycle.
