This position is open to current, permanent VHA, South Central VA Health Care Network, VISN 16 Human Resources Program Office employees only, and those eligible under CTAP (current, permanent VA employees who have received a notice of RIF, separation, etc.).
As a Lead HR Specialist, you will serve as a senior quality reviewer in the Staffing Shared Services Unit, on a Facility Team (the Facility is to be determined) or the Review Team. The Lead is responsible for reviewing all facets of USA Staffing and HR Smart work for their team including staffing, recruitment, and retention. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
Qualifying education for the GS-0201 series includes programs in HR, HR development, HR management, business, business management/administration, industrial relations, labor relations, industrial psychology, organizational psychology, organizational development, management, organizational behavior, pre-law/law, legal studies, health care management/administration, public administration, public policy, human services, leadership and/or humanities.
