As a Program Analyst, you will:
- Provide assistance obtaining data and evaluating whether program goals, objectives, and operations are realistic and in line with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct various ad-hoc analyses, prepare small-scale reports, or portions of larger ones, and compile information for management.
- Assist in preparing briefings for management on major issues.
- Aid in providing financial oversight to include developing and tracking program budgets, reviewing invoices, and analyzing financial reports.
- Monitor and evaluate contract performance and interact as needed with contract employees to ensure programmatic needs are met.
- Conduct elementary research, analyzing and preparing elements of background information on the legal, social, political and economic circumstances of countries where future program projects are planned.

To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, applicants must have one of the following:
