Duties
- Implements the program protection planning activities for supported Security Assistance/Cooperation Programs, their facilities, and weapon systems ensuring that all elements of protection comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implements the Program Protection and Technology Assessment and Control Program. Identifies critical technology and assesses the feasibility and benefit to the US of providing this technology to foreign governments and analyzing the risk to the US.
- Implements the OPSEC program. Integrates security into the acquisition process by providing acquisition security input to the requirement and contractual program documentation.
- Incumbent must properly employ Anti-Tamper (AT) measures to add longevity to the critical technology by deterring efforts to reverse engineer, exploit, or develop countermeasures against a system or system component.
- Represents organization with DoD, USAF, AFMC, other MAJCOMs, various AFLCMC organizations, and foreign government and military personnel. Maintains effective working relationships with these organizations.
