In this position, you will serve as Auditor. Typical work assignments include:

This position is located in the Office of Inspector General (OIG) at the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The NEA is the official arts organization for the United States government, and an independent Federal agency that supports the advancement of artistic excellence, creativity, and innovation. The NEA OIG is an independent office established by the Inspector General Act, as amended, to evaluate and report on programs and operations of the NEA through independent and objective audits, investigations, and other activities. This includes investigating reports of waste, fraud, abuse and mismanagement involving federal funds; and assessing and reporting on internal controls, financial management, information technology, and other systems that affect the operations of NEA programs and grantees.
As a small office, the NEA OIG provides opportunity for experience in many areas.
