This position is located in Baumholder, Germany. The Baumholder Military Community is part of the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz and is located in the wooded hills of western Germany in the federal state of Rheinland-Pfalz, only 30 miles from both the French and Luxemburg borders. The Baumholder post is home to 5,000 Soldiers, Family Members and Civilians (and growing!) on two barracks: Smith and Wetzel. It lies adjacent to the town of Baumholder, which is like a stateside military post in many respects and has all of the facilities that would be found in an American town of the same size: schools, churches, medical facilities, recreational facilities, banks, a variety of stores, and all other necessities. Baumholder is also conveniently located thirty minutes drive from the 70,000 Americans of Ramstein Air Base and the town of Kaiserslautern. All this and even more make it a beautiful Army home.
