Duties
Special events implemented include events such as Autumn Fest, Winter Fest, Easter Spring Filing, Independence Day Celebration, shows, and assisting in other program operations and activities.
- Promotes and coordinates a maximum participation recreation program on a year-round basis to support eligible personnel.
- Develops programs, which will meet participant interests and needs of team and individual activities.
- Identifies facilities, personnel and supplies required to support each program.
- Promotes, organizes and directs intramural and all-star sports programs to coincide with scheduled higher level tournaments for the same sport.
- Prepares budgets.
- Recommends new programs that are cost effective and assures that program emphasis is on those activities most appropriate to the interests of the population served.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE DIRECTING ONE OR MORE RECREATION PROGRAMS. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the NF-03 level.
Experience that demonstrated the ability to apply the principles of one or more specialty areas of recreation. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:

- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
