As a Facilities Services Assistant, the primary responsibility for this position is the ongoing maintenance, control and administration of a comprehensive preventive maintenance control program and automated data system, Facilities Equipment Maintenance System (FEM).

Duties
- Utilizes an automated maintenance control data system, such as FEM/MAXIMO, to provide system control, oversight, repair history, analysis, data entry, and documentation of current and future maintenance operations
- Organizes, complies all pertinent information, assures accuracy, and enters data and updates for each piece of equipment into the maintenance system.
- Monitors FEM/MAXIMO for new personal property records.
- Utilizes the control system to issue and schedule routine and cyclic maintenance, repair and replacement of all equipment, machinery, etc.
- Prepares or assists the supervisor in preparing annual and periodic program reports, which may include major items of repair, problems occurring, and information affecting workload.
- Serves as Project Advisor and Systems Administrator on the various functions and features of computer hardware/software, FEM/MAXIMO system, and other related data maintenance matters.
- Makes recommendations concerning changes in business practices and changes in FEM/MAXIMO software operations.
- Troubleshoots system problems and issues, to include problems with access, printing, server connectivity, permissions, training, etc.
