Duties
- The employee serves as the first line of response and analysis for all clinical and administrative IT work tickets.
- The employee provides technical support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training in response to customer requirements.
- The employee is expected to utilize judgment resolve work tickets and follow established procedures.
- The employee purges information from customer network hosted home drives and account request packets as users leave the facility.
- The employee in-processes new users, which includes reviewing required documents for completion.
- The employee assists senior IT specialists to ensure that users are assigned applicable and appropriate security roles within assigned security groups.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) diagnosing and resolving routine and recurring problems in response to customer reported incidents; 2) installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and/or maintaining customer hardware and software; 3) Assigning and prioritizing tickets created and placed into a customer support work order queue.

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or, two full years of graduate education from an accredited or pre-accredited institution that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks.
