This position is based in the Storage Group Elephant Butte Field Division, Power Office, Upper Colorado Region, with the duty station in Elephant Butte, NM. The selected candidate will provide property and supply management operations and technical support to the division, along with simplified acquisition administrative support.

This position is designated as a LOW RISK position. It requires a fully completed and favorably adjudicated SF85 Background Investigation (T1 or equivalent) that is current (within the last 5 years). This is a condition of employment.
Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary; however, about 20 percent of the time the work does involve some walking, standing, bending, lifting and carrying of light to heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds in order to properly store and dispose of property and supplies, conduct inventories, evaluate property and space, etc. The position also requires driving vehicles to various location for preventive and corrective maintenance, and to pick up or deliver supplies. The work may also involve operating a forklift. If the incumbent operates a forklift, proper training and certification will be required. Some travel is involved for attending meetings and training.
Working Conditions: The duties of this position are performed primarily in a warehouse and office setting. However, the work involves occasional work in outdoor and industrial settings and in the main warehouse area with moving warehouse equipment, carts, and machines. Safety precautions for the setting including wearing hard hats and proper footwear are observed.
