The goal of Office of Science and Technology (OST) is to support an ATF that is ready with the right information, services, and capabilities for the right people at the right time to safeguard America's communities from violent crime, enabled by excellent people, process, and technology. The Office of IT Infrastructure combines the Operations, Performance Management, Data & Voice and Wireless Communications services to create and maintain world class service in a dynamic Information Technology environment for Internet, voice and data network.

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12 performing duties such as:

Background Investigation: You will be required to undergo a background investigation prior to employment. Security Clearance: You will be required to obtain a Top-Secret clearance for this position.

This position does not have an education qualification requirement.
The position is considered essential personnel and will be responsible for remaining at or reporting to the worksite in emergency situations and inclement weather. This includes subject to 24-hour, on-call duty in the event of a facility-based, local, regional, or national emergency. Will require irregular work hours, work at other locations other than official duty station, short-notice details, or deployments to alternate sites for extended periods of time.
