WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an Public Health Advisor, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Providing technical, administrative advice, and guidance to key stakeholders, on SNS MCM preparedness activities. Analyzes existing or proposed activities to identify gaps and recommends areas for improvement, including partnerships, methods and resources required.
Assisting SLTT health department officials on establishing plans and conducting meetings with partner agencies, and key stakeholders to collaborate on strategies, communication, establishing agreements for resource sharing, and training and exercise coordination to ensure readiness to conduct SNS MCM operations during emergency response. Acts as a liaison between SNS Preparedness Advisor and host agency regarding SNS MCM preparedness issues, successes, and challenges.
Working to develop public health messages with subject matter experts and develops messages into appropriate end-products for communicating public health information to target audiences. Coordinates the development of information and education materials on product problems such as press releases, talking papers, and fact sheets to alert public or lay users about specific problems, papers for presentation at conferences or meetings of professional organizations.
Reporting to key stakeholders on the progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines, for completion of assignments, projects, and tasks. Ensures that all relevant stakeholders are aware of and participates in planning for achievement of goals and objectives to establish and sustain SNS MCM program. Prepares, maintains, and disseminates records and reports of accomplishments and administrative information, as required, and coordinates the preparation, presentation, and communication of information to designated officials.
