Duties
- Individuals training to become certified Lifeguards.
- Position involves close supervision with detailed guidance by Aquatics Manager.
- Full participation in all required training, including emergency rescue drills and action plan simulations. All certifications must be completed within 30 days of employment.
- For facilities using "O2 bottles," certification in Oxygen Administration (American Red Cross or equivalent) is required within two weeks of duty.

- A one year probationary period may be required.

This is an exciting opportunity and steppingstone to become a Lifeguard with NAF MWR U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii
Lifeguard training will take place on October 7-11, 2024.
Those who work in this position will be provided with the opportunity to obtain Lifeguard Certifications at no cost them.
Once certified, employees become eligible for Promotion to a Recreation Aid (Lifeguard), position with a pay rate increase.
Please note, this position does not have any working hours available, and paid hours are only for hours completed during Lifeguard certification course.
