This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller)/Chief Financial Officer of the Department of Defense. The Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) is the principal budget official of the DoD and serves as the personal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense on critical matters and directs activities of the staff providing budgeting, financial, program analysis, and management services to officials of the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Supports the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) Strategic Communications function and serves as Correspondence Analyst for the USD(C).
Supports offices of the Under Secretary of Defense and Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense events and initiatives logistically and with communications support; also supports other financial management community engagement efforts through social media and other communication platforms.
Manages Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) packages, Privacy Act, forms, DoD Issuances, and mail management programs.
Administers OSD Records Transfer and Retrieval Program for the Comptroller organization and provides an interface between the Comptroller and the staff of the Washington National Records Center.
Serves as the OUSD(C) Privacy Officer as the focal point for Comptroller Privacy matters; works closely with Defense Privacy and Civil Liberties Division on all Comptroller's privacy matters.
GS-11 Substitution of Education for Experience: Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement. If you are using education to substitute for the specialized experience, you must submit transcripts at the time you apply.
