The primary purpose of this position is to repair, install, operate, and maintain a variety of Army Standard Integrated Target Systems, such as Armor Moving Target Carriers (AMTC), Infantry Moving Target Carrier Systems (IMTCS); Target Holding Mechanism Tank Gunnery (THMTG) and Enhanced Remote Target Systems (ERETS).
(1) Installs, removes, maintains, modifies, troubleshoots, and repairs voice and/or nonvoice communications systems including intercom equipment; electronic systems; terminal communications equipment; modem; fiber-optic end equipment; T1-carriers, and line drivers.
(2) Installs thermal target equipment to include, but not limited to, AC or DC powered thermal heating panels.
(3) Isolates faulty components and determines extent of repair or replacement required to restore power, signal, or correct mechanical operation.
(4) Inspects and tests Army Standard Integrated Target Systems, using wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and test equipment (i.e., voltmeters, multiplexers, miniature consoles, and digital multi-meters).
(5) Operates and maintains wheeled vehicles assigned to the shop.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Primary consideration will be given to current WY ARNG military members. If required, additional areas of consideration certificates may be released to hiring managers.
Open to US Army, Army Reserves, and Army Nat'l Guard military members only
Must be assessed into WY ARNG before appt. May take up to 120 days.
Must become a member of the Wyoming Army Nat'l Guard before appt.
Must submit ERB or DA Fm 2-1 with application.
May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, if eligible. Subject to funding and TAG approval.
PCS is not authorized.
Indefinite position may convert to Perm if funding/position is available.
Must obtain a Wildland Firefighting Red Card and Range Safety Level 2 Certification within 12 months of appt.
