The Deputy Clerk (Administration) is a key member of the management team for the Clerk's Office, overseeing many office functions and coordinating with the Clerk and Deputy Clerks on setting the direction of and policies for the office. Among the core duties of the position are: overseeing the daily operation of the Docketing Support group; overseeing preparation of the Court's Journal, judgments and mandates; preparing weekly statistical reports reflecting case filings and other case-related information; serving as a backup to the other Deputy Clerks and the Emergency Applications Attorney with respect to a variety of functions; participating in the development and management of Clerk's Office information technology systems, including the Court's electronic filing and docket software and the portions of the Court's website that are the responsibility of the Clerk's Office; and providing information to Court officials and litigants concerning Court practice and procedure.
A law degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar of the highest court of a State or territory are required.
