As a Program Specialist, you provide support for a full range of administrative activities including strategic and operations planning.
Your major duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting coordination of tasks of the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) development process, assists with management of NOFO timelines, and supports NOFO development, submission and publication including internal AHRQ processes, NIH guide policies and timeline issues.
- Assisting with customization of grant funding templates for AHRQ use; ensuring accuracy of templates in published documents; assisting with all updates and corrections; providing updates to staff; assisting with communication with NIH or any changes and/or issues.
- Assisting with submission of grant funding announcement, ensuring accuracy of submissions, tracking and reporting on submissions, addressing all issues, communication to AHRQ staff and with NIH, ensuring administrative processes are followed and all deadlines are met.
