The Executive Director, Regional Procurement Office (Central) is an executive aligned under the Executive Director, Acquisitions. Completion of a full four years course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
Highly Recommended -Acquisition Certification: Applicants who possess or are eligible for Level Ill certification by the Federal Acquisition Institute (Federal Acquisition Certification? Contracting (FAC-C)) or Department of Defense Acquisition Workforce (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification in Contracting); OR applicants who currently possess or are eligible for Level II FAC-C or DAWIA certification and can achieve Level Ill certification standards within eighteen months from the date of appointment to this position will also be considered.
