ECAP is a career ladder, formal developmental program that will offer you a permanent position upon successful completion of the program. Program participants are eligible for non-competitive annual promotions/salary increases up to the GS-12 grade (see General Schedule (opm.gov) for annual salary figures by location and grade). Promotions and salary increases are based upon successful performance and supervisory approval.
This position is eligible for telework and/or EMCBC's remote work pilot program.
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12 grade level. Since you will be selected at a lower grade level and placed in the ECAP developmental program, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

For the GS-09: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as:
OR YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR THE GS-9 BASED ON EDUCATION: 2 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education or Master's or equivalent graduate degree in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. or LL.B. or J.D. if related.
OR YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR THE GS-9 BASED ON A COMBINATION OF EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: You may qualify on a combination of education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the specialized experience requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the educational requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
NOTE: To qualify for GS-1102 positions on the basis of graduate education, graduate education in one or a combination of the following fields is required: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
