As a Transportation Specialist, you will:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad level of knowledge and experience with applying pavements and materials concepts in support of advancing the state-of-the-practice with how state and local agencies use pavement sustainability concepts such as life cycle cost analysis and life cycle assessment (LCA). The candidate will have experience providing technical direction for or implementing pavement sustainability practices as well as knowledge and experience with ensuring highway improvement projects and programs are delivered in a manner consistent with Federal legislation, FHWA regulations and policies, and state laws and policies.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
For the 2101 series, specialized experience that demonstrated a knowledge of the transportation function(s) of the position to be filled is required.
