As the Deputy Associate Administrator, Design and Construction, you will have the following duties:
Develops and produces an integrated series of reporting and assessment mechanisms and tools for use by NNSA senior and operational management complex-wide to ensure real time communication of critical project performance and impacts to the overall NNSA project portfolio.
Ensures the development and implementation of successful project execution programs including: guide the transformation and transition of construction management planning, execution, and operations to a more centralized, federally-managed and involved enterprise.
Oversees the procurement and management of an enterprise-wide Federal Construction Management services capability for design and construction; manage the Project Management Career Development Program (PMCDP) to ensure NNSA Federal Project Directors (FPD) have the highest level of professional skills and experiences to successfully accomplish NNSA mission critical projects.
Builds successful cross-organizational coalitions and partnerships; organizes and manages the activities of a large dedicated and matrixed Federal workforce at multiple locations; and demonstrates exemplary communications skills both written and oral to senior management across a range of venues and media.
Leads change by identifying and implementing new, innovative initiatives to accelerate the delivery of world-class infrastructure.
Provides detailed and prioritized analysis of staffing needs for Office of Design and Construction programs, and devises alternatives and solutions for resource requirements.
