The Student Legal Intern assists attorneys to perform supervised legal research and prepare written documents that cover a wide range of topics relating to the FDIC’s supervisory, regulatory, and enforcement functions. Performs legal research, drafts legal memoranda and legal opinions involving the interpretation and application of certain provisions of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, the FDIC Rules and Regulations, and other statutes and regulations governing the activities, operations and structure of insured depository institutions and consumer compliance matters. Assists attorneys in preparation and review of documents for judicial and administrative enforcement proceedings.
