Duties
The Infrastructure Security Division (ISD) focuses on protecting critical infrastructure from all hazards by managing risk and enhancing resilience through collaboration with the critical infrastructure community, which includes private sector owners, operators, and employees; State, local, tribal, and territorial officials; and other Federal agencies.
The primary purpose of the position is to serve as a Program Analyst with the Policy, Rulemaking and Engagement Branch of the Office of Chemical Security. Typical work assignments include:
- Representing the interests of CISA and Office of Chemical Security before internal and external stakeholders at all levels including the public and other Federal agencies;
- Planning and conducting a variety of authoritative, comprehensive, complex and sensitive projects and studies;
- Performing extensive management surveys;
- Performing long-range planning and analysis of new substantive CISA programs where precedents are scarce or nonexistent;
- Serving as an authoritative source of consultation for other program specialists, managers and management officials;
- Consulting with management to prepare detailed plans, goals, objectives, requirements and assisting in determining the need for and development of written policies and procedures;
- Presenting briefings, documents and decision papers to senior level reviewer.
