Duties
- Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person.
- Processes purchasing documents to order and receive supplies. Conducts surveillance of total facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor
- Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies. Keep cleaning equipment in good working order. Maintain clean storage area for equipment and supplies.
- Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, sweep all areas of the establishment. Cleans sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to standards.
- Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment. Prepares work order for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
- Ability to work weekends, shift work, and Holidays to support facility resident needs and/or community events.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical demonstrating ability to stand, stoop, bend and kneel as well as be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Qualifications
Must have experience working with the general public.

- At least six (6) months of experience providing customer service to facility/operational patrons, including answering questions (telephonically, in person or via email), conducting basic clerical work (filing, printing etc.).
- At least six (6) months of experience with Housekeeping or Custodial Worker duties.
